At one time the Recent/Young/New/Junior etc Old Blues were informally known as the Blue Babes, but I can't seem to get acceptance for this.

Here's a suggestion for the Young Old Blues....

"Grecians 7" abreviated to "The G7"

Linking the school with the next 7 years (18 to 25)

The abreviation has some connotations, but roles off the tongue....

Any better suggestions? Personally I can't stand the YOBS acronym - just gives completely the wrong impression, and doesn't fit the CH feel. Can you imagine a sign at a meeting venue saying "YOBS Meeting this way"?

I think you have to focus on the acceptable letter that can go before OB's, such as Barely Old Blues, BOB's, can't think of one for COB's, but there must be an acceptable name, Happy OB's, HOB's, etc etc.
This has been going on so long with so many brain cells burnt on it that someone has to bite the bullet soon and take a decision.
