I think the TV room was in there in my time, sort of under the stairs to the Dining Hall.

In my memory, the Crush Hall was the bit to the left of the School Hall, where the coat hangers etc. were, leadin to the tiled floor with the school crest, and the bust of Sir Harry Vanderpant, at the bottom of the stairs leading up to Dining Hall (both of which, I learned recently, are Still There!!) I think that access to the Music Room was somewhere adjacent to/behind the stairs up to Dining Hall, with some sort of connection to underneath the stage in the School Hall? My memory says the Music Room (where there was also a TV on which we watched Wimbledon?) was 'round the back' somewhere, anyway!
I think that when we marched from our houses up to Dining Hall we went through the Crush Hall, en route to the staircase?
But who knows what tricks a 59 year old memory now plays?!

I do, and goodness it brings back memories ! The TV room did indeed lead up to the stage, and was used as a Green Room during the House acting competition and Speech Day.

Absolutely agree, Mary. I don't remember it being called anything in particular!

Well I was 5's and 2's too.. so maybe only people who were in both those Houses called it the Crush Hall! (What a silly suggestion!)

Oh yes - I remember that. That's where we watched Grease!
