If you are really desperate, I will bring mine over, but I am sure if asked to play at the airport, they would consider it a dangerous instrument.
I travel on the 10th, so let me know by then, and also attire, since formal wear disappeared from my wardrobe when I stopped paid work.
I went to hear an excellent Brass Ensemble last night, but they had French Horns and Tubas, as well as trumpets and trombones.

Hi John.. it would be good if you could but it will load up your luggage etc! Dress is black top and black bottom, with something christmassy to adorn the top - green, red, or whatever....scarf, waistcoat, bow tie, tie, shawl ..... red wig.........

(PS - JR - piccolos are not brass instruments.. I think they count as woodwind.............)

Of course; exchange control and all that - you can't export anything without getting paid in foreign currency.

Hello.. yes I believe Amanda has signed up.. so yes please do come!
You need to contact Zoe Mitchell in the CHA Office, p.d.q. - she will give you details of the music (should you want to practice beforehand) and will tell you the dress code (though if you ferret away back up this thread you will find out those things for yourself anyway!)
Zoe is zm@christs-hospital.org.uk.
Let me know if I can help with anything?
