Not good.

She's just phoned me. Been in severe pain all night so I'm going to get her back over to the hospital later this morning.

You think once they have families of their own that's it, but you are always a parent aren't you?

Cast removed. They don't seem too concerned. New cast fitted and she now has a 'dayglo pink go-fast stripe' added for effect, much to the amusement of her daughters.

Poor thing - she must be so frustrated! And I bet the kids are highly ammused!

As to Mary's post - yes we think once they have left the nest adn taken their things and have other family we sort of stop being a full time parent - no - it doesn't happen - son is no longer a Pizza delivery boy - he got sacked for not bothering to turn up last Saturday - perhaps this means he is growing up???

Daughter seems permamently annebreiated in Leeds......

And I didn't know that tube stations had junctions or number to them - I thought they all had names.........

Confused as heck here in Gloucestershire
not surprising as the winds in the air
cats all a muster
because of the bluster
be that still leaves me out there!

Wow, a little verse from Jude.

Good to hear your daughter is doing well now even if she does need sunglasses for that cast.

When Loz broke her wrist, she was seriously fed up when she found she couldn't have a black and red cast in honour of Manchester United. I was delighted, this impressed her even less!

There was an education supplement in yesterday's local paper and one page was devoted to fresher's week.

It stated that the idea was to get registered, meet your peers and sort out your timetable. In truth it is the most drunken most expensive (relatively) week of your life.

she has her timetable has decide her elective (fine art) module, last night went off to begginers guide to scuba diving, has her SU card - somehow everyone has come out orange! she says EVERYONE has normal coloured hair but all their faces are bright orange! I think she is now almost looking forwards to actual lectures - she can only take so much of doing nothing - plus she is very aware of the lack of funds!
