A very good day for drinks !

My birthday, so unfortunately, I will be being entertained by daughters and Grand-Children. I think my age bars me from attendance anyway !

Maybe it should be for The Young at Heart Old Blues?

How old, or indeed how young, do you have to be to be a Young OB? I'm 34, so am I a 'fairly Young OB' (I like to think so!!), or a 'nearly middle-aged OB'?

Do the YOBS need an old sea-dog on their voyage tonight as they navigate their perilous shoals?

That's a tricky question!

The working assumption is that it's OBs under 30 (that's who the e-newsletter was distributed to) - but we tend to believe in the 'more the merrier', so if you're in town and want to join us this evening please feel free.

Thanks Kate

Regrettably not! I am still some hundreds of miles distant and my boat does not sail that fast especially in the force 5 easterly now sending whitecaps scurrying across the estuary here.

Under thirty... cripes.. only six months left <sob>. Hmmm.... summers evening... drink on the Thames... only twenty minute walk from home. Want to come but husband has other plans (Camping Exhibition in Piccadily - whoopee do! :? ) Might be able to persuade him along afterwards with me so I don't look like a billy. All a bit scary though. I'm horrific at names and faces and the passage of time alters both!

Ah, but I was not out last night, and I am at work now.

Not a busy day I have to say.

Well I'm under 30 and I never got an e-newsletter. Hmph. I'd have gone.
