I am far too young to think of the age of that! Come to think of it, I suspect that even you are too young, but I am sure there was good music in the 1880's after all people such as Beethoven, Brahms and ? Elgar were alive and composing then.....

Sorry to be pickuy but Beethoven died in 1827.

Was that a 'Spot the deliberate mistake' Jude?

well you know I wanted to revive the "music" side to this forum, so I could have added Janowksy (or however you spell his name) and a few others - I have a book of composers lives - but that would be cheating - so how did you know his date of death?? is it intrenched in your mind from CH or did you go and check it up????

For Fun I did an A-Z of composers - in the line of classical music - but includes people like John Williams...

I think I will start a New Thread and we can see how many of each we can get!!!
