NEW HEAD
FYI the new head is to be Mr John Franklin, currently head at Ardingly. He is from Oz. He has a large labrador dog. He has also taught at Sedbergh. Anyone got any more info?

DOGS, IMPORTANCE OF IN RELATION TO HEADMASTERS, NEW

Always look first for the simple explanation. The only pic of the new head I could find showed hims in a standing pose with a dog at his feet. I saw no point in alluding to his height, looks, hair style or build, so all I could think of adding was that he apparently likes dogs. Just a quick, throw-away line of no great significance!!I like the way that owning a labrador is important!
