Re: It was purely a matter of time

My daughter has lost hers several times over! Each time it has just found it's way back to her, it is very clearly labelled, and it's a very inexpensive phone that does nothing other than calls and text messages. It's not currently working though, for some reason that isn't going to get sorted out u...

Re: Contributions

Well, the waiting is over at last. It's not good news, but at least I now know.

Re: 3rd form German trip

My daughter had told me that it was "First come, first served. There are only 30 places..." but as you all say, there was no mention of this in the letter, so to be honest, I wondered if she'd got it right. Obviously she did, partly. If the money and paperwork was handed in on Sunday eveni...

Re: Contributions

I emailed, this is the response I got.

"I will advise you of your next year's bursary award as soon as I am able, I have to re-assess the whole school so it does take a while!"

I feel like I shouldn't have asked!

Re: Contributions

I'm sorry, I'm sure someone probably asks the same question every year, but it is helpful for me to know.
Still nothing today...

Contributions

Our deadline for the paperwork was May 11th, has anyone who had the same date been notified of their contributions for next year yet?
I'm getting desperate to know what ours will be!

Re: 3rd form German trip

How do German lessons fit in? Is it instead of French, or as well as?

Ah... I'm not going to be able to get pictures done until the summer holidays now though. I think I'd better email too.
Thanks. :)

Re: 3rd form German trip

It's awful isn't it. My daughter can't go either, for the same reasons. I can't even tell her in person now, as she's spending the last couple of days of half term elsewhere. She was so excited about it, I'd told her "We'll see once I have the details" but now I have them she's already gon...

Oh, and go on, tell the story... :)

And another thing, may I ask about your username? My brother went to a school of that name...
