Gone for a while - have to swan off to a meeting. Now, if you'd said that in a POSH Housey accent, it would have sounded like: "Gone for a WHALE.........." (OK, it's not a bird, but it is MARINE.....) Incidently, parrots ARE aquatic, if you throw the squarking bleeders in the English Chan...

A guy in Maine A, a few years above me, used to collect other people's sport's clothes...oh no, wait a minute - he was a THIEF! It got so bad that someone actually put a notice on his study door that said 'Lost Property'. I wont mention his name as he may have good lawyer by now... This guy sounds ...

As far as teaching in Prep was concerned, I can only remember venturing to Basket Weaving, and to the Art-School for outside tuition. The only visitation I can remember to the Prep teaching block was prior to going up to Coleridge, when Dr Rust, (Head of Music), came to Prep to 'audition' for treble...

Mr James only left the school in the mid 1990's! Would this have been the same Mr James, Matt ?? He must have been in his 40's when I joined school in 1958. He was a very tall man, as I remember with a deep booming voice which seemed to reverberate through the Prep buildings. Scared the Hell outta'...
