This news on Bogey Fryer has shocked me. I haven't kept up much with CH news over the years. I remember he had a son called Tim who went to CH while I was there. Does any one remember Pete Brotherton, I 'm sure we used to call him 'smooth'. Not so sure about his teaching but was a great guy. He hel...

Which one is you Andrew? They all look too innocent... Is that you with the tongue out, or the one slightly out of step? Have a good Christmas, see you next year. John. I've been having trouble with that one. The one with his tongue out I think is Dom Fry ("Killer" Fry's son), I could be ...

Found this (while looking for something else...)

This looks like Maine A around 1970/71. Possibly Parents Day (as I would guess that my father took the picture).

I well remember the Saturday 'treats' of films in Big School. On a slightly different note, but not really going off topic, when I was at Horsham, D.H. Lawrence's "Lady Chatterly" was enduring its famous obscenity case in the Law courts. "Women in Love" was shown in the theater ...

School films at Horsham were in Big School when I started. Focus was often a problem, as were blown projector bulbs and other "pauses". They could also be hard to hear clearly. Things improved with the building of the Theater, with it's brand new projector and better sound. Settin g up for...

I'm sure we had this when I was in Maine A, but don't remember it being called sprim - it could be a name that only existed in some houses??
