Re: Barnes A Parents

PPS.. What does the Band Captain actually have to do? It sounds very important and is featured as the most senior position on the Band webpage, but there are no details. I can't imagine her tossing things into the air or anything.....and I'm not sure that a saxophone can give a pitch for tuning oth...

Re: Back to Fiona Bruce

Colin McDowell played a baddy in the US drama Heroes. Malcolm, shurely.... Anyway, back to Fiona's posterior - I seem to remember Jeremy Clarkson recalling an unexpected encounter in a BBC Television Centre lift, in which he found himself positioned behind FB. "I could eat her arse", was ...

Re: External hard drives

Thanks all. I'll be playing it safe and putting valuable stuff onto disc as well, so we'll seem what happens. I don't imagine I'll be carting the thing around very much, so fingers crossed......

I've read quite a few reviews which claim that they are quite prone to breaking down and losing everything, but I think I...

Re: The Forthcoming General Election

I have been bombarded by leflets, phone calls, more leaflets, etc etc, etc. ----all inviting me to vote Liberal Democrat. I have been DELIVERING the same leaflets ---------What a waste of money. I have some grave doubts about who organises these things ! I still don't think I can break 200 years of...

Re: The Forthcoming General Election

Or did people have to vote by post/be shipped off to the nearest polling station? Yes, in 1978. It was a local...
