I'd personally love to try all the various single malts etc but the truth is I cannot stand the taste. So I feel somewhat uneducated in this respect. I do like a decent vodka though - Stolichnaya, neat, straight from the freezer and straight down in one.

I think the whole Xmas lights and cards thing is great as long as it's not overdone. If people want to put lights up, then that's fine. Just don't try to sell it to me! I remember a Kiwi Bokker in the mid-80's - I think his name was Craig - who once played rugby for New Zealand U21s or something like that.
