I agree with pinkhebe and chdad - my dd wanted to join the scouts, but is in the junior drama production and couldn't do both actives.

The blue was an excellent read, and I even thought I caught my dd's name in the house roundup, until I realised it was a dep by the same name

I found the wait got harder the closer to the results day. I was a complete wreck just before. We had decided that dd could open the envelope, but when it came, I just had to open it really carefully and bounce around, and then reseal it really carefully, and pretend all innocence
