Aren't the school/house monitors the voice of the the pupils with the staff? At a house level for house monitors, and a school level for school monitors?

It was really shocking for everyone - I don't know if anyone ever really knew quite why he did it? We all wondered, and couldn't believe it.

He had so much going for him - talented, personable, always a friendly word for everyone, and very well liked from what I knew.

It was a quirk of the automatic word censors that went wrong - now corrected!

Spot the dodgy word in "Just watched" and you'll work out what it was - took me a minute to spot it!

That's great news - and thanks for the info.
Have found the church website, and tried emailing them to find contact details.
Would love to get back in contact, and maybe buy a painting from him - he was a fantastic guy, and would love the honour of owning one of his paintings.

I think the issue with the "Ridley Society" is that's it's one man - there is a membership (from what Neil says) but the membership is not public. If the membership feel as strongly as Neil does (and he's clearly very passionate about the issues he raises) then that membership should come ...

Still working on that - but not having huge luck really. There's still a concern over some of the content, and negative impression it gives of both school and the management of the school (Ridley Society articles etc. etc.) I can see their point of view, when the most vocal aren't always right, howe...

There was the Chamber Orchestra - a generally higher standard, more select crew, but it's certainly true that the band had the higher profile. The ability to play at Twickenham for the rugby (do they still do that?) and to march through London on St. Matt's day makes a huge difference! The highlight...

Here's an idea: 1. We knock-up a forum advert for download, standard A4 or 2 x A5 (two copies on each page) 2. Every active forum member that's going to Old Blues day prints out a load of copies, and circulates them at Old Blues day....lunchtime, walking round the school, those watching sport etc. e...

Sorry if all this is old news!
Indeed he is - and probably one our highest profile famous Old Blues at the moment?:-
