Re: Congratulations To Joe Launchbury

Good luck to him, I have a feeling that he may soon be one of the first names written on the team sheet.

Re: school photos

Maybe there could be an official house photo each year that would be easier to arrange. However I agree I would definitly purchase individual pics like the 2nd form ones if they were sold.

Re: 2nd Form Parents Evening

Yes that is correct we have been to two thus far, you get to talk to all of the relevant teachers (assuming you want to). You just wander around dining hall / big school (wherever it is held) and chat with them as they become free. Its quite laid back.

Re: Four weeks to half term

Good luck with the initial assessment for younger daughter, it doesn't seem as though it was 3 years ago that we were doing that for D.S, time flies!

7 a.m thats a lie in! Yes looking forward to having DS back home for 2 weeks, as I said previously we have missed him, not sure whether he has missed us at all though! Still at least he is happy and appears to be even busier than ever at CH. I think he has learnt to manage his time much better nowad...

Four weeks to half term

I much prefer the usual 3 week stints of school followed by a leave weekend or holiday, 4 weeks feels like a long time. I imagine it is hard for 2nd formers as well. Oh well the time will soon pass I suppose.

Re: St Matthews Day Parade

I managed to get in at the back (without a ticket) as there were some spare seats. The hairs on the back of my neck have only just returned to normal - a wonderful day which I shall never forget !

Re: St Matthews Day Parade

My son is in the choir and he has been told that there is early breakfast at 5.45 for the choir before departure at 6.15. ! I have a feeling they may all go straight to St Paul's by coach and only march at the end when they leave, but I may be wrong. Has anyone else found out more info?
