Re: Foundation Hymn- Blue CD on YouTube
As a parent I have not yet been able to witness this being sung in the Chapel. However just listening to the recording is very moving. I think it is great to have it on you tube and the pics accompany it well.

Re: Olympics trip
No problem JR! I have to say it was really amazing to be able to walk to an Olympic event in your own Town (albeit a steep walk up Boxhill).

Re: Olympics trip
We were on Boxhill as well, great day, really enjoyed it. Great shame about Mark Cavendish they worked so hard for the win but it was not to be. It needed the whole peloton to chase down the breakaway, 4 men cannot do that alone!

Re: Lincolnshire Donation Governor
I think you have to choose the right school for the child rather than insist they all atend the same school. I have two daughters who attended our local comprehensive because that is where they wanted to go and they have been happy there and are doing well. CH seemed to suit my son, he was desperate...

Re: It's still tough
I agree it's great to have DS home. It seems to take him a few days to adjust to being back at home and I think we are now comfortably back in "home" mode. My son does seem to lead two separate lives, when he is at school he is totally engrossed with Ch life and his friends there, when he ...

Re: Grecians' Path
My DS has always said that he cannot walk down the Grecians path (he has just finished 3rd form). Maybe the rule has changed but the tradition continues ?

Re: It was purely a matter of time
Trouble is most of the children leave them on "silent" so that they dont go off in lessons.

Re: It was purely a matter of time
Most stuff does seem to find it's way back. My sons swimming trunks went missing for 2 terms before they came back. I am not sure where the lost property office is, I think it is open one afternoon each week and details are in the calendar I think. I seem to remember that there are e.mail addresses ...

Re: It's still tough
I,m really looking forward to haing my son home as well, however I wonder how long it will be before he says "I'm bored". That is the only trouble I find, life is so full for them at C.H that much as they love being home it doen'ake long before the novelty wears off !

Re: Girls' cricket?
I dont' know whether C.H has any girls cricket, if I was you I would contact Mr Messenger to find out. Our village cricket club has just started a girls section and it is proving very popular and well attended.
