Re: Trial of Gary William Dobbie

Keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer..... Some may have been staying “friends” in order to see what others are saying. I do that in terms of following political figures and commentators I vehemently disagree with - mainly to ensure I don’t exist in my own echo chamber, but also also...

Re: Trial of Gary William Dobbie

It’s irritated me from the start that he’s not been titled Revd. And scant mention of being a chaplain. I would hope the church would release a statement, and he’d be de-frocked for his appalling breach of trust and horrific offences to young vulnerable kids away from home, turning to the person who...

Re: Trial of Gary William Dobbie

I don't think there's anything prejudicial, which isn't already elsewhere on the forum from previous topics/comments.....I think it's all factual, and suitably caveated depending on the verdict. But please do PM me if there's anything you feel should be removed - very keen to ensure nothing on here ...

Re: Trial of Gary William Dobbie

I think we are fine now. JT has been put in the loop and is fine as far as I am aware. It just goes to show how careful one must be when discussing court cases which are in progress on the social network. J Thanks JR for your intervention, and to everyone for the patience with us a moderators (most...

I think I’ll leave the previous comment to stand to speak for itself, given the swear-filter blocked it out - but just to be clear this is unbecoming and not normally acceptable on this forum thank you.

Re: Sentencing of Garry William Dobbie

J.R. and I have received an update regarding Dobbie's sentencing, which has come to us second-hand, but originates from Sussex Police: Sentencing likely to take place around 30/4/2019, due to further charges having been brought by Sussex Police for new offences relating to indecent assault, with a t...

Re: CH fundraising - a bit of a rant

I hope this isn't too off-topic, but I've felt for many years that if CH were absolutely true to its original mission with a one-world, non-UK-centric view, then it would actually be shutting-up-shop in the UK, and using the funds and investments to repeat it's original 1552 mission of taking childr...
