But as far as I can remember only one (either the oval one or one of the special ones) was worn.

Re: Holiday destinations?

Where are you going on holiday this year? I'm taking my family to Perugia, Italy. It will be our first Summer holiday that isn't beach based so I'm not sure how the teenage kids will cope... Just before Easter we're going to Boobies Bay, near Padstow in North Cornwall, for a few days. I seem to rem...

I will be interested to hear his comments. Rex was a year ahead of me in Maine A, so would have moved on in t...

Here is his reply:- interesting reading I have tried to register so that I could post a reply, but for some reason I cannot get into the bit to activate myself, the decsion to introduce subs was not taken lightly as you know the MOD heavi...

Are those towers still working? I would've imagined they might've broken down or something... When the theatre was first new the towers managed to rip up the surface of the floor, making it even mor difficult to push them about!. Also all of the wood block flooring in the areas around the theatre a...

I remember The Rivals, throwing fake snow from the roofspace. It has Mrs Peto in the main role.

Re: Wooden legs

Did CH have more than it's fair share of monoped employees? In my time there was Kit Aitken (from whom I learnt the correct spelling of that immensely useful word Eschscholtzia), the school barber (who at the speed he worked must have been paid per head), and the bokker in the wardrobe. Since leavi...

After a successful match vs CH (we won in the morning and they won in the afternoon, and I joined the "Clay Pidgin Preservation Society"......) I now have to turn my attention to Bisley. Last year we almost had 3 teams, and it would be good to do so again. Match starts at 17:15 and goes on...

Re: Master Keys

Does CH still have the same old master key system ? It got you through most locked doors around the school. It was so useful to have a master key although you didn't want to get caught with one. There were so many of them around however, some even home made from soap impressions. At one time the he...

We were expected to give them for free! (part of assessing 'flu jabs)
Also some of the people that they found to take the samples seemed to still require 'L' plates!
