Wouldn't you have better luck on eBay? I doubt if that many organ enthusiasts visit here...

Alternatively, I have an cousin who's a major church organ geek... I could ask him where the best place to advertise is if you like.

Brighter people than I have pointed out this is a Photoshop job. The bottom-right bollard has certainly been digitally copied from elsewhere, since it's (a) at the wrong angle, (b) is off the center of its square, (c) is slightly foreshortened (perspective is wrong), and, most revealing of all, (d) ...

A few years back my mobile phone rang. I answered it clearly with "Hello." The woman on the other end said, "Hello - mum?" I replied, "No, clearly I'm not your mum." Rather than realising she'd rang a wrong number she then tried reading out the number she was trying to...

All I learned on my first night of C.H. was an extremely unreliable nth-hand account of the facts of life. The process of imparting this secret knowledge to the new boys was known as "corrupting" and it was greatly relished by the corruptors (i.e. the third form). "Have you been corru...

The main thing i remember is his big 'dulux' dog who spent half the year with heavy, matted fur and the other half of the year looking half the size after his/her annual shearing. Etheldreda!! Poor old dog, I don't think she ever had a bath in her life... I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Roger's ...

Funny how spending any time in EJW's domain then was seen as wacky, whereas now I 'happily' :? spend more than that in front of a PC every day, and I am not even a techie. "Wacky" is certainly one of the kinder words I've heard... Shame we didn't all become Bill Gates -style softwa...

I was taught by him too! Two years of Biology up to O-level. I wasnt terribly hardworking back then, so only just managed to scrape through that one... I also remember his daughter Tanya was heartstoppingly beautiful. For some reason Tanya Sillett and Sidonia Porteous were, for at least a term or tw...

No need to blush Craig, it's actually quite a good photo! At least there was clearly some life in you... whereas *I* look as if I'm unused to direct sunlight. It's almost as if I was spending 12 hours a day in the computer room or something...

Good god, so he did! I'd quite forgotten... Christ, it's all starting to come back since joining here. That Thorn B house photo was full of strangers when I first saw it, I didn't even recognise myself at first. Now I can remember almost everyone... the same goes for other house photos from the same...

Hi Craig, I certainly remember your name! Any chance you could link an embarrassing photo of yourself? I actually have a mental image of you (a rare feat of recollection for me) but given that I am now capable of mistaking someone for their stepchild the probability of error remains high... Re. Davi...
