Re: Hertford Museum : Follow up visit 2 August
Some photos from August 08 - its taken me this long to master the technology. Below are Miss Tucker caught in an interesting gesture (was it seeing us again that prompted this!) Also below are Teresa Bailey, Sara Tucker, Jan Hunt, Gerri Sutch, and Gill Green. Missing from the gang of 71 is Angela Mo...

Re: Miss Von Stetten

Re: Miss Von Stetten
I have a lasting memory of her switching on the dorm lights at spot on 7.00 and bellowing "why are you not up and dressing" - delivered in a stereotypical German accent. I imagine she had a troubled past.

Re: Miss Morrison
Oh that kind side of Miss Morrison was the real side I'm sure. Its interesting reflecting on the behaviours of staff from an adult perspective- we only knew them as children - plus remembering the educational/social context of the 60's and 70's. Child centred policy was a long way ahead and child pr...

Hi Jo
Please put me out of my misery- what was squatting?
Do you remember going "up T'imf"?!
A Strange history we all share...that most people don't believe if you try to tell them.

"Go forth and multiply"- Mr Uptons climactic (get the pun?) dispatch to us all. I remember Noye's Fludde as was just back to school from 3 months in Harlow hospital having had my appenix out. I couldn't take part but was envious of everyone else involved as waves, animals etc etc. I don't ...

I think I've found Frances - she's now Frances Harland - I found her on an obscure geneology site - she married a David Harland. Think she lives in London. See what you can track down. No luck on Googie - she became Daniella (her real name). Lets keep seaching.

Re: Hertford Museum : Follow up visit 2 August
Ditto. Last weekend, discovered that Sara Tucker, much missed over the past xx years, now lives 20 miles away -both of us in Wild West Wales. She and her lovely hubby called in on Sunday Morning. Incidentally we've lived that close for a number of years without knowing it. Hopefully we will be comin...

:D OH I had forgotten those eyebrows and spectacles (definately spectacles not glasses- were they half moon?) and his bashful shy laugh ( a quiet -shoulder -up -and -down laugh). I have ended up like you Alexandra using maths lots in my job although it is statistics for me and much less fun than the...
