Re: TOP SCHOOL?
I read my copy at the bus stop, and was pretty disgusted, to be honest, by the blatantly untrue headline, which is exposed by the text that follows it.

Re: BIG ink pen stains on white crested polos!
You need to identify the major component of the ink and then apply an appropriate solvent. Alcohol (strongest Vodka you can lay your hands on) is ideal for felt tip pen ink, not sure about ball point, but if it fails you can, of course, console yourself by mixing the rest of the bottle with some ora...

Re: Attention Kerren!
Oh, and you bite off diagonally (diametrically?) opposite corners, and only take a little bite, or there won't be enough left to suck through. The weather leading up to me heading off to UK with the Tim Tams was sooooooooooooo hot that the chocolate wouldn't have made it from the air conditioned sup...

Re: Attention Kerren!
Firstly, congratulations Josh
Secondly, yes, it's called a Tim Tam Slam (no idea why). It is such a waste if you are too slow and the Tim Tam disintegrates into an unpalatable mess at the bottom of the coffee.
xx

An Adelaide pub proudly displays a banner declaring that they were voted as being the worst source of vegetarian food (can't remember whether it is within the State or the Country).

Re: Headmaster's Appraisal
Incidentally, the appraisal form itself asks for the name of the sender, gender and year group of child. Is this likely to encourage forthright replies....? Yes, if you believe that the person collating the results will not reveal individual identities. Yes, if you have the b@lls to stand behind yo...

Re: Steve Hinton - scholarship boy?
But I, and many of my contemporaries, did win a place that was hotly contested. I endured five years at Hertford because I was 'so lucky and so clever' as to have been awarded a scholarship, and until I joined the Forum I thought that we all were. I don't understand how I could have been under such ...

I was awarded an LCC scholarship too, and assumed that they disappeared along with the LCC (that's the London County Council for our younger readers).
I thought that we were all at Hertford courtesy of one scholarship or another.

Re: Probably just me
I am struggling to write a coherent reply. Who are these people who would even consider euthanasing a child they had just given birth to? Do I want to be part of the society that they belong to? No, I do not.

Fisherman's Friend?
I do remember Imps - they taste different, but just as awful, as FF. Aren't they triangular, with a sort of ridge around the edge?

Re: Does anyone on this forum go to church?
Mum was churched after the birth of at least 3 of her 4 offspring. I was 12 when my brother was born and remember thinking, even then, that it was a bit of a testosterone-toss and somewhat insulting to both mother and newborn.

Re: Does CH Take In a Fixed Quota of Ginger Kids Each Year?
I understood that the short temper gene was linked to the gene for red hair. Why aren't the Rangas/Gingernuts standing up for themselves/beating the c$ap out of the bullies? And, honestly, smelling of Twisties and bus shelters if far preferable to three day unwashed armpit. Yes, summer holdays are o...

Can't help answer your questions: sorry. However, I feel compelled to reply, even though I don't know what I want to say, except perhaps aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Your nephew might like to tell the sad little people who are tormenting him that, in Australia red heads are...
