Yes, it was a final recording at the end of the boys-only era, but was mainly intended as a tribute to Malcolm McKelvey, who was leaving after many years as Director of Music. He recorded an improvisation on the chapel organ, for example, based on the leavers' hymn "Lord thou hast brought us to...

Yes, a set of records was made showing off the talents of all the orchestras, bands and choirs of CH at that time. It was also, as you'll remember, the last year of "boys only" Horsham CH, and also the last year of the Director of Music, Malcolm MacKelvey. I can't remember much marketing f...

It may not sound much now, but the privilege of using the Grecians Path in my Grecians gave me a few more precious minutes in bed before the dash to breakfast...shortest route, and all that. Is it still a privilege reserved for Button Grebos?

Some years back, you could pick up housey coats from a second-hand clothes shop in Kensington Gardens, Brighton, (one of the pedestrian streets below the station)...no idea if they were the real thing or not, though.
