Re: Memories of Corks - chapel organ 1950s

Re: PETITION: Is 26% Full-Fee Paying Pupils Too High?
Simon Reid and Christopher Steane seem sympathetic to reducing FFP to <10% by 2027 by fundraising and cutting the bluecoats according to the cloth?

Re: History of the Band
Being a member of the Band 1951-1957 was for me an excellent aspect of life at Housey with tours around the Sussex Fairs and a great camaraderie. The Drum Major of my time became a four-star General and the Band Captain a double Oxford Blue.

World University League Tables are very well respected but these UK School League Tables much less so. The School League Tables ought to have a substantial "added value" component in the equation and CH would then do well especially if the FFP can be reduced to <10% by 2027 by "cuttin...

Re: CH, Assisted Boarders and the TES
There are indications that both Simon Reid and Christopher Steane are committed to reducing FFP to <10% by 2027 and "Petition 1552" is still active in encouraging this policy. The bluecoat has to be cut according to the cloth and significant economies variously introduced throughout the sc...

G W Hines LB 51-59 was an Oxford Blue 1963 and 1964 I recall or thereabouts and an England Triallist in ~1964 - as well as playing for Rosslyn Park - & Zambia in I think the Currie Cup. Maybe J Launchbury will go on now to Oxford....in a worthy tradition?
