Caroline Payne (nee Barrett) 6s 65-70
Sad to see in the latest CHOBA newsletter that Caroline is no longer with us.
Prior to the almost complete desertion of this forum by the Hertford ladies Caroline was one of many prolific posters.
Condolences to any of Caroline's friends and family that might see this post.

Re: Old Blues Rugby Football Club - NEW MEMBERS NEEDED
As it relates to OBRFC I thought I would post this here.
The programme from the away fixture at Bath, Boxing Day 1953. Proof that historically OBRFC did play at a decent level.

Re: Death of Ben Sweeny alias Spoonbill
I deeply regret to report that my brother Adrian Francis Sweeny , who was in Leigh Hunt B and Coleridge A between 1972 and 1978 and was generally known at CH as Ben, has been found dead at his home. He had been in poor health for many years. He was a longstanding and at times controversial contribu...

Re: Miss Gracie, Matron in Maine in the 1960s?
Does anyone know the name of the matron who preceded her in Maine? I have a photo of her her sitting next to 'Doggy' Barker in probably 1962. For some reason my Mac will not let me post it here. ``when I click on the image icon it just says in the text. David Alexander I believe her name was Miss W...

Re: Miss Gracie, Matron in Maine in the 1960s?
I’ve been contacted by a non-forum user, whose tech abilities mean they can’t post themselves easily - they’re looking for info about a “Miss Gracie who was a matron in Maine in the 1960”. Anyone know any info about her?? Julian Julian, Miss Gracie came to Maine as Matron in 1966. She was a quietly...

Chris
I think back row 4 could be Robert Clarke but might be wrong given the passing of time as you allude to.

Re: Barnes B striped rugger shirts
Hello Chris
Good to hear from you albeit in such sad circumstances.
The rugby ball is marked 1973/74 which would concur with the hairstyles.
I left in 1972 so cannot help with names.
All the best Andy Miller

Re: Geoff Fordham RIP
When I started in 1965 there were 3 Pratts in Maine A. Graham (house captain), Robin and Martin. I remember being told that they had an older brother (Ian presumably) whom had left a few years previously.
They also had sisters at Hertford, one of whom, Angela, used to post on this forum.
