The pay phone in Maine A was very close to my study (my study was a curious little room on the ground floor) A dep used to phone his girlfriend at about 2.30 in the morning and she used to phone back - it got to the stage where I used to leave the phone off the hook once I went to bed...) Didn't make it to Old Blues day but I was there in spirit. Had to take my car to be serviced in Horsham. Spent the morning mocching around town - it was strange rememebering the inane amount of time I spent there. Then popped into the jolly Wetherspoons and found out why I never used to drink coffee...

God, I remember both of those now! The other thing that was painful was getting splinters from the dorm floor. Probably not quite as uncomfortable as the guy who put his hand through the lav end window while playing dorm run outs............
