The London school places have been announced so if they have got into the school of their choice they will not take up a CH place, and some on the waiting list will be given a chance to attend. Good luck.

My DD when she applied was on the reserve list and we were fortunate to hear 2 weeks later that she had a place. They always used to do the GCSE's over 3 years as it allowed the staff to step outside the syllabus and provide a broader approach rather than slavishly following the prescribed one set by the examining board.

It is/was my understanding, that children at CH who did not have a presentation were all 'scholarship' / competetive. That was the terminology used on my daugthers ucas report when she left CH almost 3 years ago

Yes they are still expelled but they term it permanently excluded now. There has been one that I know of this academic year, but there may be more.

I have heard there will be 1 full fee payer per year per house, and 1 day pupil per joint house. If they need the money they need it but that is 100 pupils from needy backgrounds who won't have a place. Perhaps if we had all been willing to give that little bit more, rather than try to pay as little...
