Re: Sheila and Peter Higgins - character references for Gary Dobbie
Wonder whether either or both of them know Anna Glenton who is the chaplain at Lewes Prison (according to google). She must be seeing a lot of peers from the diocese of Chichester and neighbouring diocese come through the door.

Re: Trial of Gary William Dobbie
On lawpages it states that it is adjourned until 00:00, so their either going to have a midnight feast and carry on discussing or the timing is wrong.

Seems that the Trial has resumed at 14.09 - whether that means the Jury have come to a decision or not remains to be seen.

sejintenej - Oh I'm all the better for going and am a firm believer that you have to take opportunities, some of them pay off and some of them don't. Either way it will be an experience. I'm very fortunate that in my career i've been offered opportunities and although hard work, have got me to a pla...

Was very lucky with the people that were in my year group in house. Senior House was awf...

Re: Drugs in sport
Frankie Boyle summed it up well: "I want athletes to take drugs. I mean, do you want to see someone shave a hundredth of a second off the 100m record or do you want to see them run it in 3 seconds? I don't want to see Dwaine Chambers running on steroids; i want to see him running with the legs ...

Re: Freemasons and questions to answer
RDTS was an open Mason, I noted that he greeted parents with what we assumed to be a Masonic 'sign', IIRC, a sort of heel click and a raised palm. I was led to understand that he was, in the early 1980s, in the same Lodge as the Chief Constable of Sussex Police, I'm not sure that there is a masonic...

Re: Music Lessons - not a pupil
Thank you AMP, very helpful and insightful advice. I think the recorder idea is a brilliant one and will look in to this. I'm not sure what they are teaching at primary school but every time I ask if she still wants to learn the violin and explain that it's not easy, she tells me that she has a grow...
